About the Painting
I love these Stargazers, I know, I know I probably say that about all flowers. But these really do have a special place in my heart. On my very first date with a very sweet romantic man he bought these lilies for me.   Not only are they gorgeous, but the scent they put out is very intoxicating. (I bet soon those smart computer dudes will figure out a way to send scent through the computer.)  Okay so back to the date, not only did this Romeo have these gorgeous Lilly's, he was playing romantic music by Eva Cassidy. As I think back to that date, I realized he was hitting all my senses: sight, sound, smell and feelings.  Since all my senses were involved I can remember ever second of the date. What a Wooer he was. Yep, you guessed it, 3 years later we were married. Every time I bring these flowers into my home we both think back to that wonderful night. Can you say awwwwwww?

On another note, to make this lovely painting a little more challenging, these Stargazers are double blooms, most typically you will find the single bloom.  I've been told I like a challenge, Whew!
