About the Painting

This handsome fella's name is Lobo.  He belongs to my good friends who live in a converted church and are huge animal lovers.  Lobo is the lone dog living with seven kitties (I think that is the number). Brave dog!  I was kind of intimidated to paint this because of his tongue, just wasn't sure I could get it to look right.  Now that I finished I think it is one of my favorite parts of this painting.
