About the Painting
This is the pal of the chicken I painted last time. They hang out at Señor Buddy's. Señor Buddy's is a corner convenience store in southwest Austin which happens to have drinks, great food, live music, gasoline and two friendly chickens to greet you. Isn't that a riot? The little blond chick would feel so left out if I didn't paint her. So today is her day. When I asked her why the blond chicken crossed the road-she quickly retorted, "To go shopping of course!" Silly question.
Amy, love your chicken series, or are they roosters? Never too sure about all this, but whatever they are, they are fabulous! Especially love the "blondie"!
