These beautiful white and purple Anemone flowers is surrounded with
playful vibrant green leaves. The intention of this painting is to remind of us of the love,
support and comfort that is always surrounding us no matter what. It is
to remind you of the omnipresent presence of the Divine.
This is one of the paintings I painted at the beginnings of the lock-down for COVID. The very detailed nature of this was calming to my spirit.
Didn't you think that the lock down and pandemic would be over in a matter of months? What are we in, month 9? No gatherings, no big dinners out with friends, no travel, no ball games, etc etc etc just seems unreal, doesn't it? Without these activities to keep our lives and minds occupied we spend a lot of time just with our thoughts. (You can only purge your closet so many times, lol) It is so easy to let our mind fall down the rabbit hole of fear, frustration and hopelessness? What is the best way to not let happen? To really feel the presence of something greater than ourselves. To get in touch with the Spirit that lives within us and know and trust whatever happens we will be okay. This is what this what I had in mind while I painted this.
What does the painting make you feel or be reminded of?
